Be extra aware of your power when this module is installed.Įngine and Lights: I have no idea if these actually affect power or even have power consumption. It will drain a lot of power if your vehicle is both damaged and low on power, when you dock it. If your vehicle is badly damaged, then it will drain power, at least as much as if it was being recharged. Vehicle Dock Repair Upgrade: While handy, this will add more power consumption when your vehicle is docked. There's also the fact that you don't have to worry about power while in the deepest two Biomes in the game.
I haven't tested this yet, but I do believe that you could safely install some Power Cell/Battery Chargers, and once parked over a thermal vent, you can fill those and charge everything at once. Thermal Charger Upgrade: Again, build this ASAP! This turns every single thermal vent and two entire Biomes into charging stations for your Cyclops.
Increases the Engine efficency from 100% to 300%. It is insanely handy, but it is the first module I remove when I need more defensive upgrades installed. Some drain power insanely quick, and the Engine Efficiency Upgrade doesn't affect any Abilities power consumption, so use them sparingly and wisely.Įdit: I should note that "Abilities" are: Silent Running, Shield, and Sonar.Įngine Efficiency Upgrade: Build this ASAP! Once built, you triple your driving distance. Only turn them on when you need them the most, and always turn them off when you don't need them.
